I’ve been with Surge since 2012! I started off as one of the foundation Personal Trainers who opened the Wanneroo club, also teaching group fitness classes including Pump, Cycle, Yoga and Beats.
I’m incredibly passionate about group fitness as I think it offers so much in the sense of accessibility and social connection!
Our modern lives are so busy that it can be hard to find the time to fit everything in – but with classes being held so frequently, at such varied times and such affordable options, I think that group fitness offers a solution to many people.
It’s also such a warm and welcoming environment, I think it puts many gym-newbies at ease, and allows a chance for them to learn the basics of biomechanics in a non-intimidating space.
Plus, it provides an incredible opportunity for social connection! A chance to meet and connect with other members of the community – share laughs, triumphs, struggles and goals - and to feel supported along the way!
