Surge Fitness Clarkson is looking for a Member Service Representative to join their team on a Full-Time Permanent Basis.

MSR's are responsible for achieving or exceeding individualsales goals by pre-planning the month with strategic outreach, in-club leadgeneration and securing member referrals. As an MSR, you are a Surge Fitnessbrand ambassador. Ideally, you will love working in promotions, at fitnessexpos, on-street marketing and chatting to people about their health goals! Youmust be passionate about health and fitness and motivate others by encouragingtheir potential. Reporting to the Club/Assistant Club Manager, you exceed yourpersonal goals for yourself and the team. Since you‘re the expert on all of theclub’s amenities, features and programs, you’re responsible for buildinglasting relationships with prospective and current members, ensuring they’re maximizingtheir Surge Fitness experience.

Requirements:

• Previous sales experience is desirable.
• An entrepreneurial spirit.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Enthusiastic, energetic, personable and friendly disposition.
• Personal passion for health and fitness.
• Willing and able to work evenings, weekends and holidays if required.
• Enjoy working as part of a team.
• WWC and Police Check

As an integral part of the Surge Family, you will:

• Prospect new business and clients.
• Host events and workshops for in-club lead generation.
• Achieve or exceed individual sales goals, renewals and ancillary service goals.
• Conduct pre-planning activities each month including strategic outreach, for securing member referrals.
• Build rapport and lasting relationships with prospective and current members.
• Actively seek and close out sales opportunities.
• Create strong community relationships.
• Tour prospective members around our fantastic facilities.

Previous sales experience in a fast-paced, result-driven environment is desirable. We are looking for a confident individual who can inspire the general public to visit our health clubs and get started with a healthier lifestyle.

Ideally, you will love working in promotions, at fitness expos, on-street marketing and chatting on the phone about client health goals!
