Registration

On your child’s first visit, parents must complete a child information form for each child so that we can cater to all individual needs. You must present your membership card on arriving into the crèche and sign in your child.

On leaving you must sign out your child – please note we will NOT allow a different person to pick up a child after their stay.

Session Time limit – 90 Mins

In order to provide this service for as many members as possible, the maximum session length allowable is now 1.5 hours only during the time when you are at the club working out.

As soon as you have completed your workout, you must collect your children. Children should not be left in Creche for any other reason than the parent/guardian training in the club. Children are not permitted at any time in any other area of the club other than the Creche, unless of course doing Kids Classes. Members can ONLY bring their own children and must remain on the Surge premises AND be contactable at all times.

Bookings are ESSENTIAL. All bookings can be made through the Surge Fitness member application.
Subject to the Membership Type including Crèche access, eg; “Creche Inclusive Memberships/Creche Unlimited Subscriptions members acknowledge that Surge does not guarantee availability at the Crèche, it is the members responsibility to book a place in the Crèche as and when the service is required.
If a place is not available within the Crèche or Crèche services have not been used, Surge will not refund or credit memberships for non-use of Crèche.
Members acknowledge and agree to pay the Crèche Fees for use of the Crèche immediately and without offset.
If You have elected for a direct debit You authorize the Biller to deduct the Crèche Fees from Your nominated bank account.
STRICT CANCELLATION POLICY APPLIES: Cancellations must be made at least 2 hours prior to your booked session commencing, via online booking system/Surge Fitness member application only. Parents who fail to cancel in accordance with this policy will be charged an automatic No Show Fee. This also applies to Creche Inclusive Memberships/Creche Unlimited Subscriptions.

Health
& Wellness

While we aim to provide most things for your child we ask that you bring along nappies and wipes or pull-up training pants if required, along with a drink in a plastic cup or bottle with a lid. Please note if your child needs any assistance with the above additional items it is the responsibility of the parent to ensure this is carried out and our friendly staff will call you to assist in changing or feeding your child.
Change of clothes if you feel it’s necessary
Please remember to label all belongings
Please refrain from bringing any food, toys or glass bottles/containers to the Creche.

Illness

If your children are not in good health, they will not be admitted into Creche. We have strict rules applying to this our team and children are in a confined space.

If your child has any of the following you must not bring them into contact with the facility. Please keep your baby/child at home if he/she is suffering from:

Cold or flu like symptoms
If they have been in close contact with a proven case of COVID 19
Diarrhoea in the previous 24 hours
Vomiting in the previous 24 hours
Any infectious disease
Major injuries in the previous 24 hours (such as broken bones, stitches etc)

In the case of infectious illness such as chicken pox, measles, mumps etc, or for conditions such as head lice, impetigo and such, children will not be permitted entry to Creche until such time as the condition is completely cleared and the risk of infection to others is cleared. Should your child contract such an illness or condition, please notify staff. Surge Fitness reserves the right to refuse entry to any children. Please note: if your school age child is too sick to attend school, they are too sick to come into Creche.

Allergies

Please advise us if your child has any food allergies. Due to the increasing prevalence of allergies, please be aware that Creche is strictly a Nut Free Zone IF YOUR CHILD IS ANAPHYLACTIC, PLEASE BRING YOUR EMERGENCY ACTION PLAN FOR OUR RECORDS

Medication

Our teams are unable to administer medication in our Creche. If your child requires medication for an ongoing condition such as asthma, allergies etc, please ensure that you manage this personally.

All of our staff are first aid qualified and have a Working With Children Police Clearance. Our crèche service is not a licensed child care service. As such, we are not subject to the licensing requirements of the Children and Community Services Act 2004. You, as the parent, maintain responsibility for your child at all times.
